Celebrating by candlelight? Spray the inside of a votive holder with a thin coating before dropping in a tea light. After the candle has burned down, the remaining wax will slip out.

I have a tip I can add that I see is not on the Real Simple list. You may be familiar with it or saw it on Pinterest as I did. I recently tried it and it really did work.... You put rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and use it to spot clean microfiber furniture.
