Sparkling Pinecones

I was feeling crafty this morning and still in the Christmas decorating mood (photos of this to come).  So, I decided on this cheap and cheerful project - sparkling pinecones.  I already had all of the materials on hand and it took about five minutes!  And I love the end result.

What you'll need:

cinnamon scented pinecones (you could use regular ones in your yard for free instead)
spray adhesive
glitter
display container - preferably clear glass

What you'll do:

Get your glitter ready.  I used gold but you could do red and green or anything you want.

Lay your pinecones out on a covered surface and spray top side with a layer of spray adhesive and apply glitter generously.  Shake off excess, turn pinecones over and repeat this process on the other side.

Let them dry so the glitter stays put.

Arrange in clear glass container and enjoy the yummy smelling, sparkly 'cones for the holiday season.
