El San Juan

I'm back.  Had a great time in Puerto Rico despite Tropical Storm San Juan impeding the weather some.  The hotel, El San Juan Resort and Casino, was awesome.  Seriously stunning.  They had some of the coolest light fixtures I've ever seen.  These pictures don't do it justice but you can get an idea...

I know I've mentioned before that I love lucite.  There was a cool lucite lamp in our room:

 and also a lucite chair in our room!  So see-through you can barely see it!

My favorite part of our room was the bathroom.  The mirror over the sink lit up and served as a night light at night.

I absolutely loved the tile in the bathroom.  I can't tell if it was a very beautiful shade of aqua or if they painted the walls and put clear tiles on top but either way it is an effect I'd like to duplicate in a home of my own one day.
