Okay, so this tip is super random but I guarantee after you read this you won't peel a banana again without thinking of me. My friend Valerie taught me this a couple of years ago and every time I peel a banana now I picture her in my head. So basically, the theory goes that monkeys open their bananas from the opposite end we are used to opening - the un-stemmed end. You won't believe how easy it is until you try it.
