Hibachi Grill Taste at Home

You can use typical store bought ingredients to recreate the taste of a Japanese restaurant style steakhouse at home.  I'm not gonna lie - a Hibachi grill is one of my favorite eat out spots - right next to Mexican food.  It's over priced, not particularly healthy and sitting with strangers can either be really fun or really miserable.

At your grocery store you can fine the miso sauce as well as the teriyaki sauce in your Asian section.

I marinate the chicken in the miso and a little bit of soy.  Season with salt and pepper before grilling.  Grill the chicken about 5 minutes on each side.  Make sure to let it get to room temperature instead of tossing refrigerated chicken on the grill.  It'll prevent it from sticking
.

Sautee the chopped veggies (I used onion, zucchini and carrots) in vegetable oil.  Once softened. add a little of the teriakyi sauce.

Once the chicken is cooked, chop it and add it to the veggies.

Serve over brown rice.  You can use either of the sauces as an additional dipping sauce if you want.
