Hey Diddle Diddle

I've been excited about my latest needlepoint project which I turned into a pillow for my friend Reeves' new baby girl, Emery, who is due in April. But, I had to wait until after the baby shower to post it...

Hey diddle diddle the cat and the fiddle and the cow jumped over the moon...

I love the needlepoint finishing place I use in Alexandria. They are the cutest old couple and they have been so excited about my needlepoint projects lately because they bring youth and fun to a hobby that a lot of little old ladies have been doing. They even suggested that I enter my projects into a needlepoint contest that apparently happens at one of the old historic houses in town. Maybe something to shoot for...

The canvas is Jennifer Pudney and the fabric is Amy Butler.

  2. It's awesome! I love it, love it, love it and Emery is going to love it, too! Thanks for doing this for us, Camer! I've looked at it over and over again today. So cute and it looks great with the nursery.
