Gimme those baby back, baby back...

RIBS!

YUM. I don't know how to cook them but I sure know how to eat them. Delish. Here's my husband's instructions on how to do them:

Baby Back Ribs Rub
1/2 cup paprika
1/4 cup cumin
2 Tbsp salt
black pepper to taste
1/8 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp mustard powder

In a bowl, mix together rub ingredients so there are no lumps.

You will also need some store bought barbecue sauce to apply while the ribs are cooking.

How to fix 'em:

Pat the meat dry with paper towels. Clean the membrane from the back of the rack of ribs starting from the underside curved part. This job sounds disgusting so I will not give you any more details but you can also ask your butcher to do it for you. If you decide to do it yourself, here are some pretty good instructions from BBQ Junkie.

Rub the meat down with the spice mixture thoroughly so the meat is coated on both sides.

Let the grill heat up to a low heat around 250-275 degrees.

Slow cook the ribs. After they have cooked for 10 or 15 minutes, begin applying the barbecue sauce with a basting brush until the ribs have finished cooking. The cooking time depends on the size of the rack but will roughly take 45 minutes. If you are smoking the ribs, this will take longer. We've tried it on a gas and a charcoal grill and the charcoal wins hands down!

Have plenty of paper towels ready when you serve this!
